Then he became a shrimping-boat captain, keeping the promise made with Bubba, and founded a very big shrimp society with Lieutenant Dan. Forrest started to play ping-pong professionally, and he excelled also in this sport.
And he met also Jenny, that became a hippy, living with sex and drug. When he gets out of the hospital he met another USA President, who gave him a medal for his bravery. There Forrest started to play ping-pong, and he was very good. After this Forrest went back home, but he spent a very long period in hospital, where he met again Lieut. But he could do nothing for Bubba, who died in the middle of a forest. Forrest saved many people in that occasion, also Lieutenant Dan. Everyone of his platoon tried to escape, but many of them died. One day, bombs started to rain from the sky. Bubba became his best friend, but Forrest never forgot Jenny, his only love, and every day he sent her a letter. He went in Vietnam, and during the war he met Bubba, a young black boy who had the dream to be the captain of a shrimping-boat, and Lieutenant Dan. After graduating he decided to enter the army. She also dreamt to be a famous singer, but one day, when Forrest went to meet Jenny, he found her in a pub while she was singing nude, with only the guitar, after that he met the USA President for the first time, to be prize-winning by him for the football championship.
He became a football champion, and she started to associate with shady character. At the end of the school, they went to different universities, and so they began to see each other less frequently. Jenny lived in a little old house close his one, and had a very bad father who mistreated her and her sister. She always encouraged him when other kids pulled his leg. He was called Jenny, and since that day they have been best friends. At the first day of Primary School nobody wanted him, and finally only a very little girl let him to sit near her.
He also wore leg- braces, but his mother did everything for him that could improve his situation. then other children, and so he was mildly retarded.
